    • He's awful!

     He's  awful!

Jane: What's Ron Marston like, Pauline?

Pauline: He's awful! He telephoned me four times yesterday, and three times the day before yesterday.

Pauline: He telephoned the office yesterday morning and yesterday afternoon. My boss answered the telephone.

Jane: What did your boss say to him?

Pauline: He said, "Pauline is typing letters. She can't speak to you now!"

Pauline: Then I arrived home at six o'clock yesterday evening. He telephoned again. But I didn't answer the phone.

Jame: Did he telephone again last night?

Pauline: Yes, he did. He telephoned at nine o'clock.

Jane: What did you say to him?

Pauline: I said, "This is Pauline's mother. Please don't telephone my daughter again!"

    Jane: Did he telephone again?

    Pauline: No, he didn't!

The Power Of The Dream (1996 亚特兰大奥运会开幕式 )

    Celine Dion
Sung at the Opening of the Centennial Olympic Games 1996, Atlanta USA .

    Deep within each heart
    There lies a magic spark
That lights the fire of our imagination
And since the dawn of man
The strength of just I can ?
Has brought together people of all nations
    There's nothing ordinary
In the living of each day
    There's a special part
    Everyone of us will play
    Feel the flame forever burn
    Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
As the world gives us its best
To stand apart from all the rest
It is the power of the dream that brings us here
Your mind will take you far
The rest is just pure heart
You'll find your fate is all your own creation
    And every boy and girl
As they come into this world
They bring the gift of hope and inspiration
    Feel the flame forever burn
    Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here
There's so much strength in all of us
    Every woman, child and man
It's the moment that you think you can't
    You'll discover that you can
    Feel the flame forever burn
    Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here
    Feel the flame forever burn
    Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here
To realize the power of the dream
To realize the power of the dream

    Mark: Is that you, John?

    John: Yes, speaking.

Mark: Tell Mary we'll be late for dinner this evening.

    John: I'm afraid I don't understand.

Mark: Hasn't Mary told you? She invited Charlotte and me to dinner this evening. I said I would be at your house at six o'clock, but the boss wants me to do some extra work. I'll have to stay at the office. I don't know when I'll finish.
Oh, and by the way, my wife wants to know if Mary needs any help.

John: I don't know what you're talking about.

Mark: That is John , the engineer, aren't you?

    John: That's right.

Mark: You work for the Overseas Engineering Company, don't you?

John: No, I don't. I'm John, the telephone engineer. And I'm repairing your telephone line.

    Pass the flame(2004 雅典奥运会主题曲 )

Darius - Girl In The Moon
    How can I sleep tonight?
    Tell me how Mars survived
    Fallen with stars
    She opened her arms
    Venus was in my sky.
How could it pass me by?
    You silently served my time,
    Even thru chains,
    Rust and the rain
    You pulled away the tide.
    Girl In The Moon,
    I'm half-way there,
    Girl In The Moon,
    I see you everywhere...
Help me find a way of falling
    Closer to you,
    Girl In The Moon,
    Girl In The Moon...
    How could I weep tonight?
    Touch and tears collide -
    Gravity spins
    Me into your wings,
And covers me in your light...
    You're the silent silver
    Lining my cloud
    You're the secret flame
    That never burns out,
    Pull away this veil
    And rise into view
    Girl in the moon...
