    Puk Han Mountain(Example)

Today I went to Puk Han Mountain with my brother and my uncle's family. We had a sleepover yesterday at uncle's.

Puk Han Mountain was about 20minutes away from uncle's house. I wished Mom and Dad could go with us but they couldn't because they had lots of work to do.

When we arrived there, we decided to just go to the ticket booth because it was raining a bit. When we got to the ticket booth, my brother and my cousin brother wanted to go back down like they promised. But the rest of the family wanted to go up to Sung Ga temple since we went up. My brother and cousin brother had to go up because they couldn't stay alone.

On the way, I just wanted to get there first. So I went up the mountain by myself in order to get to the top first. Since I didn't perfectly know the way to the temple, I asked lots of people about the way and how much longer it will take. It was supposed to take 1 and a half hours normally but I got there in a hour because I ran up the mountain. At the top I waited for the others to come. Soon, my brother and two cousin brothers arrived. They rested a bit and started there way back. So I followed them.

On the way we met the adults. And I just went up again with them. When I got to the top again, I was pretty thirsty. But people said that there are some water in the temple, so I went up again. But I was too tired and just looked and the big tower in the stairs. It was very beautiful. It was a nine-floor tower. It had sculptures of elephants, lions, and some little boys holding a flower.

Soon, I started my way down the mountain. But going down the mountain was a lot harder than going up the mountain because my shoes were almost worn out. It was very slippery where there were sand dusts. I almost fell down a couple of times. I thought it would be better to go up the mountain two times then going down the mountain with my shoes. The others had to wait at the bottom of the mountain because I took lots more time going down the mountain then they did.

Try to write about your experience of climbing mountains.

Ben: Guess what! I know something you don’t know!
    Layla: What’s that?
B: How many planets are there in the solar system(太阳系)?
L: That’s easy. Everyone knows that there are nine.
B: Not anymore! Can you believe it? They’ve decided that Pluto is not a planet anymore!
L: Nice try. I wasn’t born yesterday, you know.
B: I’m serious. They’ve decided that it’s too small to be a planet, but actually(实际上) they haven’t agreed on how big something has to be in order to be a planet anymore.
L: That sounds crazy. They can’t just change their mind about things like that.
B: Yes, they can. If you remember correctly, people used to believe that the world was flat.
L: I suppose you’re right. They also used to think that they were so important that the sun revolved around them, not the other way around.
B: We actually know relatively little about space and the cosmos.
L: Do you think that we’ll one day be able to travel to another planet for a vacation?
B: I suppose we could actually live on a planet outside of the Milky Way.
L: Do you think we’ll ever get to meet an alien from outer space?
B: I hope not. I think they would be a threat to those of us that lived on the Earth.
L: You’re so old fashioned. That’s what people used to think about people from another country!
B: Point taken. Hopefully one day, we’ll live in an interplanetary society.
