    Four seasons

    A year is divided into four seasons. As the seasons change, so do temperature, weather and the length of day. At the end of the year, people usually send “season’s greetings” to their family members, relatives or friends by posting them Christmas cards. 
    “Season” also means a period of time marked by a certain activity or a large quantity of a certain product, for example, the rainy season, the strawberry season or, for football fans, the football season. 
    Fruits are the best and cheapest in the season. But hotels cost more in the season. That is why some people take their holidays out of season.

    What can I do?

    Hello, everyone! I'm Liu Minge. I'm 11 years old. My favourite color is blue, and my favourite fruit is apple. My favourite animal is dog. My favourite sport is swimming. 
    What can I do? Well, I can get up at 6 o'clock, can you? After I put on my clothes, I can make the bed, can you? Then I brush my teeth and wash my face. I always have an egg, milk and bread for breakfast. Sometimes, I have dumplings. After breakfast, I go to school. I often go to school by bike. But sometimes I go to school on foot. 
    I like our school. We learn many things at school. I can read books, draw pictures and tell stories at class. I can jump rope, talk with classmates and have a rest after classes. I can play football, play chess and play with friends after school. Sometimes, I can help my teacher clean the classroom, such as sweep the floor and clean the blackboard. 
    In the evening, I do my homework, watch TV and play the piano at home. Sometimes can I help mom with cooking before dinner. After dinner, I can set the table, can you? Then I go out with my parents to have a walk in our garden. On Sundays, I can help mom with some housework, such as clean table, clean the window, sweep the floor, feed the fish and wash some dishes. What can you do? Can you help your mom with some housework on the weekend?
