Summer Vacation

      I enjoy summer vacation very much.  Because  summer vacation is the longest vacation of the year. We have more than fifty days to rest. Though it is very hot, we can either go to swim or stay in the air-conditioned room . In the evening, I like to go shopping with my friends.  We can eat many things in summer, such as ice creams, watermelons, grapes, and so on.In summer, I always go on a trip with my parents. It ＇ s a good chance for us to visit some nice interesting places. 

 A Day to Remember

      It was Sunday. Our teacher Mr. Zhu led us to a park nearby. Usually we go to the park to spend our holiday. But today we went there to take part in voluntary labor. 
      We got there at nine o ＇ clock. Mr. Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working. 
      The students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. The students in Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist. They also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children ＇ s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard. 
      At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all felt tired but very happy.

A: Hi, Tony. When's your birthday?

B: It's on May 2nd. What about you?

A: My birthday is on January 15th.

B: Oh, it's your birthday today.

    Happy birthday (to you)!

A: Thank you!

Lion Head Mountain 
「狮头山」

    We took the train to Chunan and then took The bus to Lion Head Mountain . First we visited Some relatives who lived nearby. Later we walked Up the connecting stairways to visit each temple. There are lots of Buddist temples built into the Sides and tops of the mountain. In one of the Biggest temples, we saw quite a few pilgrims who Came here directly from the base of the mountain By bus. However, most tourists we saw just like Us came to climb this mountain and take some Pictures of the scenery. By the time we were on Top of the mountain, it was interesting to see that it was very windy on one side of the mountain, but on the other side there was no wind at all; I guessed it would not be that way Everyday. It was about a four hours' walk for The whole trip. We really had plenty of exercise, And fresh air, too.

Turtle Mountain

Come to Turtle Mountain. It's in the US. You can ski here. It's great! You can climb the mountain, too.
We went to Turtle Mountain. We skied.
It's great! 
We had a lovely time. We went to Turtle Mountain. We were there for three days. 
We climbed the mountain. Then we skated.
We walked near the mountain and took lots of photos.
We saw some birds. They flew very fast! They were beautiful. Look at our photos! 
Turtle Mountain. Come for three days or three weeks. Enjoy the clean land, air and water.

Squirrel: Hurray! Tomorrow I'm going to a sunny Australia. It's so warm there. I can swim all day.
Bear: But it's winter time.
Squirrel: When it's winter in China, it's summer in Australia. What are you going on vacation?
Bear: I'm going to Canada. It's winter there now. I can skate.
Squirrel: Do you have enough warm clothes?
Bear: Of course. I have my winter coat and some new ice skates, too.
Squirrel: I have a new bathing suit and sunglasses. How do I look?
Bear: You rock! For sure. Time to go. Send me a postcard!
Squirrel: I can't believe it.
Bear: How is that happened!

    May Day's （五一节）coming. We'll have a 7-day holiday（七天假期）. What are you going to do? Well, I'm going to visit my grandparents in Panyu. And I will visit Panyu Zoo with my mum, dad and grandparents. I want to see many animals there. That's fantastic(太棒了）! I will go to climb（爬） Baiyun Mountain （白云山）with my family also（也）. I'll get to（到达） Moxing Summit（摩星岭）, then I can see a lot of （许多）trees, cars and people. I can see many tall buildings （高楼）in Guangzhou. I want to have a picnic （野餐）in Yuntai Garden. And I want to see some birds and the fountain（喷泉）. Of course（当然）, I will study English. I will read books and do my homework too.
