Teaching aims:

The students will be able to

1. Recognize the four words, sunny, cloudy, rainy and windy.

2. Understand and describe the weather, using the structure, It’s sunny.

Materials:

Flashcards CD Ppt students’ cards V-class platform

Teaching procedure:

Step1. Enjoy a song Rain, rain, go away

Step 2. Present the words using the flashcards.

Step 3. Listen to Word1&2 on the V-class platform.

Step 4. Do quick response to check if the students can recognize the words correctly.

Step 5. Listen to a song How is the weather

Introduce the question How is the weather? The students ask and answer in pairs, using the students’ cards.

Step 6. Listen and watch the video of Let’s talk on students’ book page34. Repeat the dialogue together, then read aloud in groups.

Step 7. Do workbook exercise on page 38.

Step 8. Listen to Dialogues 5,6,8 on the V-class platform.
