学习内容分析

本单元是人教版高中英语教材模块七的第一单元，题目为 living well，以残疾和残疾人的生活为话题。 课文讲述了残疾人凭借顽强的毅力和社会的关爱克服生活中的种种困难，以积极的态度面对人生挑战的故事。本课为单元第一课，主人公marty以第一人称讲述了自己需要面对的疾病带来的问题，以及他如何应 对这些困难，展现了他情感变化的历程。通过本课的学习，学生可以学习marty积极向上的生活态度和不 屈不挠、奋发向上的精神，引导学生理解、尊重、关心、帮助残疾人，使残疾人与健全人一样共享美好生活。本节课通过思辨性阅读活动的开展，帮助学生从了解 marty 的基本信息，并在此基础上进行课文的理解、分析人物的情感变化开始到对人物进行评价，最后通过讨论实现语言的有效产出，以达到触及学生心灵引导学生关注并尊重残疾人的目的。基于此，本课定位为读说课型。

学习者分析

学生来自首都师范大学附属中学高二年级理科二层实验班，英语基础较好，具备一定的信息提取能力、推断能力和概括能力，且有较强的课堂参与意识，愿意配合老师开展课堂活动。本课课文表层理解难度不大，教学任务实施的最大困难是学生能否在有限的时间里通过阅读、思考和讨论挖掘出主人公情感的变化及他的优良品质，并能进行换位思考，从情感上接纳、理解残疾人，最终表达出自己的真实感受。
